The Palm Springs branch of the National League of American Penwomen welcomes professional writers, artists and music composers or arrangers.
The NLAPW was founded in 1897 for women of the press by Marion O'Donohue, the neice of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Click the link to our national website for more information on its history. Headquartered in Washington DC, our national organization spans the United States with an international members category.
The Palm Springs branch includes journalists, poets, screen and television writers, authors, publicists, artists, photographers, crafters, composers and arrangers.

MATURE WOMEN'S GRANT
The Palm Springs branch is offering a Mature Women's Grant that provides three $500 tuition scholarships to women 35 to 55 years of age in writing, art or music.
